Our Grand Start Program is geared toward eliminating the barriers that are known to prevent low-income and underserved young adults from succeeding in achieving their educational dreams. Only 9% of students from low-income families earn a bachelor’s degree by their mid-20s. This program addresses the interconnection between stability, skills, and opportunity by providing financial support with life skills training, and access to a mentor or a life coach.
Financial aid assistance is provided only when funds are available, and all requirements are met. All financial payments are made directly on behalf of the member. No funds are provided directly to the members.
